Fascinating visit to the Maasai Village in Tanzania

When we were volunteering at an orphanage in Tanzania, we went on a safari trip and visited a Massai village along the way. Although the entire Maasai village tour was organized to entertain tourists, we learned a lot about their culture and lifestyle. They invited us inside their homes and shared interesting stories of their food, education and many other day to day activities. We also participated in their cultural dance which was a lot of fun. If you haven’t interacted with the Maasai tribe before, I would definitely recommend visiting a Maasai village when you go on a safari tour.
