Get lost in the tropical paradise at Costa Rican rainforest

After a bus ride from San Jose to the town of Brujo, a 3-hour hike and a narrow cable bridge river crossing, we reached Eco-lodge in the middle of the rainforest. Every day, we woke up to a beautiful view of a small river through lush green forest. We could even hear the sounds of running water from the waterfall nearby and the birds singing in the trees. The days when we didn’t have any adventures planned, we would simply relax on the deck, do yoga, read books or play cards. Looking at the rain water dripping from the edge of the roof while lying in bed as cold breeze touched the skin felt simply heavenly. Above all, nothing could compare to getting a freshly cooked homemade meal which was prepared form fresh vegetables that were handpicked from the garden right before getting cocked.
